About Hattem

Hattem is located in the northeast of Gelderland and borders the beautiful Veluwe forest area and the floodplain landscape of the IJssel. A 2,428 ha. large municipality with a historic city center, a protected cityscape, varied housing, forests and water. The western part of the municipality consists of a forest area of approximately 413 ha. and includes Landgoed Molecaten, Flip Hul, forests of the Gelders Landscape and municipal forests. The northern and eastern part of the municipality consists of an alternating polder and floodplain area.
